When lawns begins to suffer the effects of compaction, such as hard-pack soil, shallow roots and thatch build-up, BEFCO core aerators will provide immediate relief. BCA HD core aerators spoons are designed to penetrate up to 4-1/2" into the ground to extract a core, reduce soil compaction and allow improved air and water circulation in lawns, sports fields, municipal parks, golf course fairways and roughs.

• Hub spacing 6 1/2"

• Special high tensile steel shafts on the rotors

• 2 bronze bushings per rotor

• 3/16" formed steel support panels

• All panels support rotors from all sides

• 1 1/4" rotor support shaft

• 3/8" formed “A” frame

• Cat. 1 & 2 Quick Hitch compatible

• 8 spoons per hub

• All flanges are welded to rotors

• Flange thickness 3/16"

• 3/4" hardened steel spoons

• BCA HD core aerators

• Front or rear tractor mounting

• Machine equipped with spikes instead of spoons is available on request

• Reversible three point hitch for front and rear tractor mounting.

• All flanges are fully welded. Unlike other units that have no bushings, BEFCO core aerators have two bronze bushings per rotor making maintenance and repairs easier and less costly.

• BCA HD core aerators are assembled with eight spoons per flange allowing for 25% more cores per square foot.

• Core aerators are equipped standard with hollow spoons but on request may be assembled with solid spikes.

• Compatible with ASAE Cat. 1 and 2 quick hitches.
